Everything else is a routine consultation and follows the normal path: booked against your real calendar, on the same call. If a court date falls within the week, it flags the note as priority.

The details that matter, without asking for a confession

Sonora AI takes the accused's full name, date of birth if known, the arresting agency or facility, the charge as the caller understands it, and whether bond has been set. It never asks whether the person did it, and it never takes a narrative of what happened — only the facts of the charge.

If the call is coming from a facility, it warns once that the call may be recorded and moves on — it does not coach anyone on what to say.

What Sonora AI does not do, stated plainly

It gives no legal advice of any kind, and it does not advise whether to talk to police, consent to a search, accept a plea, or post bond — those decisions always belong to the attorney.

It predicts no outcome — no sentence, no bond amount, no whether a charge will be reduced. It never says the firm will take the case or implies representation has started. It also never confirms there is no conflict of interest and never quotes a fee — the attorney sets that at the consultation.

The consultation, booked on the same call

For anything that is not an emergency, Sonora AI reads your real calendar, offers two times, and leaves the consultation booked. It confirms the caller's name, phone number, and relationship to the accused before hanging up.

If the caller already has representation from another firm, it does not book anything — it takes a message for the attorney to call back.

Nothing changes about how you work today

On the web plan it is a link and a QR: on your site, in the email signature, on the card you leave at precincts or courthouses. Nothing about your number or your booking process changes.

If you later want your existing number answered — the one that rings at any hour — the phone plan exists.

What you see after every call

Every call ends as a summary of what happened, whether it was transferred as a custody emergency or booked as a consultation, and the full transcript. Booked consultations carry the caller's name and phone number.

That tells you how many custody calls come in outside business hours — the ones that get lost today when nobody is answering around the clock.
